vision for 2025

Spread the word

Our goal for this year is to get the word out to our community about Roots Student Ministry. We want teens to know that Roots Student Ministry provides fun, exciting events where they can hang out with their friends free of charge. We want our students to know that youth leaders will be attending these events who are there just for them and want to be a part of their lives.

seen & heard

It is important to us that every child who comes to our gatherings is seen and heard. Roots' goal is to bring pastors and youth pastors together to reach the students in our community. We want parents to know that our events will be a safe place for their kids to attend. We will offer adult supervision through our Roots Leadership Team and will have local law enforcement officers at each big event. We want our community to know that Roots was established to provide opportunities for us to pour into our future leaders.

discipleship

Our goal is to build strong, lasting relationships with the students in our community. We want to see them come to know Jesus, grow deeper in their walk with Christ, and go out and be a light in this dark world.

Permanent Roots

As of right now, we do not have an actual building or location for the teen center; however, we know in God's perfect timing, we will. We are currently on the lookout for land near Wayne County High School and Coastal Pines Community College (Jesup Campus). If you have land around this area and are willing to rent, sell, or donate some property to this outreach, please let us know.
